I'm trying to record using my headset, but my microphone doesn't work. I can use it with other programs. What can I do?

First, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager and check if there is a yellow exclamation mark next to your microphone driver. If there is the yellow mark, right-click the driver, select Uninstall and reinstall the drivers after you reboot the PC. If it doesn't help, update your sound card drivers. Go to Start, type dxdiag and open the utility. Click the Sound tab, check your sound card model and download and install the latest drivers available from the developer web page. Next, navigate to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Sound, click the Recording tab, double-click your microphone device and select Enable from Device usage. After that, select again the device, and click Set Default button next to Properties. If it still doesn't work, reinstall the Integrated Webcam Live! Central software. Alternatively, you can use another webcam capture utility from Software Informer database.
